About Leah

Since 2007, Leah and her daughter, Pumpkin, have lived without peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, and egg after being diagnosed with severe food allergies. Her committment to create accessible, heavenly pastries began.

After months of testing recipes, a focus on taste from safe ingredients produced the very best flavor and texture in fresh bakery items.

Leah began selling her fresh bakery items in local coffee shops, restaurants, and Farmer's Markets through her bakery, Pumpkin's Pastry. She currently takes online orders for cupcakes and birthday cakes and offers baking classes/parties in the DuPage, Kendall and Kane Counties.

As a 8-year member of the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network, Leah speaks at community events and parenting groups to help educate others about food allergies. There, Leah offers simple allergy friendly recipes and baking techniques.
